Tap into Your Vocation: Teaching in the City of Reading
Martha Good will share her experiences at Thomas Ford Accelerated Academy where Trinity Lutheran Church is in the same jurisdiction. The Accelerated Academy is one of 3 in the city, offering credit recovery for students in a smaller school setting with an emphasis on building positive student teacher relationships. Many students face daily challenges as well as considerable obstacles to learning.

The Wonders of Worship
I wonder...
From October to June our Teaching Time will happen at various times and places in the liturgy. We will be using various art forms (visual imagery, music, movement, words) for praise, prayer, and proclamation that both nourishes and is nourished by children. The simple song by Ann Krentz Organ will be the signal for kids to come forward.
You can learn more about why we are doing this by clicking on the logo.
Ceiling Project Underway!
The work has begun as you can see from all the plastic in the Sanctuary. This week they set up hoses in the Piano side stairway that are being used to remove the old insulation. All three doors that lead to the Piano stairway are closed off for the duration of the project.
The elevator side stairway remains open allowing easy access to the balcony. Click on the photo to learn more about the project.
Reading-Berks CROP Hunger Walk
Sunday, October 12 at Gring’s Mill. 1:00 pm
Some give by walking. Others walk by giving. You are invited to join the
Youth and Families of Trinity as we walk to fight hunger locally and globally.
As programs and support systems are being drastically cut, our participation
is even more important. 25% of donations will be given to Helping Harvest
and the remainder distributed through the work of Church World Service, a
partner of ELCA World Hunger. Our 2025 goal is $751.00.
WE CAN DO IT!
Our 2025 goal is $751.00 and we have raised $530 so far! WE CAN DO IT! Register to walk or donate here!
