Last Sunday...
Within 48 hours, Pr. Hans' sermon reel, Little Christs , from Sunday already had more likes (91 on TikTok, 12 on YouTube, and 3 on Instagram) than we had in-person attendees (98)--and around 1,500 people have watched the reel so far! Watch Pr. Hans’ sermon here.
We also had a spring in our step during the Offertory... Tomorrow Shall Be My Dancing Day by John Gardner
This Sunday...
Along with other liturgical congregations in the ELCA, Trinity observes the lesser festivals when they fall on a Sunday during Ordinary Time. This year, the Confession of Peter (January 18) and the Conversion of Paul (January 25) fall on consecutive Sundays. Dcs. Deborah will preach on Peter's bold statement about who Jesus is.

Praying with our Whole Selves
Join Pastor Hans for a detailed walk through the Lord’s Prayer. He has designed this teaching module to be accessible and engaging for all ages, while still getting into his characteristic depth. Come with your family to learn more about our faith’s most important prayer.
January 18 – Our Father in Heaven
This winter we begin a five-week intergenerational series on the Lord’s Prayer: “Praying with Our Whole Selves.” In our first session, we’ll explore what it means to call God “Our Father” and to pray as part of a worldwide family of faith. Through a short teaching, table conversation, and a simple craft, we’ll reflecton the people who first taught us to pray and how God gathers us into one family at Trinity. All ages are welcome—no experience needed!
Are You Looking to Serve?
Whether you’re a longtime volunteer or just curious about getting involved, we’d love to see you! Join us Saturday, January 24, from 9:00–11:00 AM for our Worship Volunteer Training. Let’s grow together as we prepare for a new year of ministry.
We'll be training acolytes, ushers, lectors, assisting ministers, media volunteers, and communion assistants for around 20 minutes each.
During the downtime, we'll have refreshments and pastries in the Hintz Room, along with a few fun activities. Once the training for your area(s) is complete, you may leave!
We'll begin with a prayer and orientation at 9 AM in the Hintz Room. See you there!
Thank You for Supporting Our Worship
Each of the two sponsors will have the ability to take home ONE bouquet or designate that it be donated. The altar guild will then determine the best recipient with staff, lay visitors, and the congregational care team.
Worship sponsors and the dedication will continue to be listed in the bulletin and on the broadcast.
New sponsor sheets for February will be added soon. There is also an opportunity to sponsor on the 25th.
