Sunday Worship

Last Sunday. . .

Pastor Hans preached about what it means to live a life that is mercied by God. How do we receive mercy and share mercy with a hurting world on an average Tuesday? Watch the sermon now.

This Sunday. . .

We will celebrate Music Ministry Sunday, giving thanks for all the musicians who give of their time and talent to make Trinity’s music program one of the best in Berks County. The service will include Trinity Ringers, Trinity Choir, and the Mixed Ensemble, as well as a brief statement by Dr. Wentz. A highlight of the service will be the offertory anthem which will be performed by the Mixed Ensemble, accompanied by the Trinity Ringers and Sandra Sittler.

275 Years in the Making: A Trinity Sunday You Won’t Want to Miss!

This May 31st, we aren’t just celebrating Trinity Sunday; we’re kicking off a milestone year as we begin our 275th Anniversary celebration. This is a day to honor our history, break bread together, and literally "set the stage" for our future.

We’ll start the morning with worship, followed by our Annual Meeting. This is a pivotal moment for our community as we review reports from our leadership and take action on our new Strategic Plan. Your voice and your presence are the heart of this process!

After the meeting, we’ll transition from business to fellowship with a Festive Brunch, leading into a truly historic musical event: “Our Hope for Years to Come.”

Dr. Wentz will lead us through an organ recital spanning five centuries of music. Most importantly, this is the very last time you will hear the majesty of our organ before the sanctuary renovation begins. From the iconic sounds of Bach’s "St. Anne" to modern masterpieces, let’s give our sanctuary the send-off it deserves.

The Schedule for May 31:

  • Worship Service at 10:00 AM

  • Annual Meeting (Strategic Plan vote)

  • Festive Brunch

  • Organ Concert at 1:30 PM

Christ Church's 200th Anniversary
Saturday, May 9th from 2-5 PM

Our Covenant Partner is celebrating their 200th Anniversary of Christ Church’s consecration. Dignitaries from around Berks County are due to attend, with brief remarks expected from Mayor Eddie Moran and the Rt. Rev Gutiérrez, Bishop of Pennsylvania.

They will also remove a time capsule placed in 1863, that was interred when the tower and spire, designed by famed architect Edward T. Potter, were erected.

Following the ceremony, the Berks Youth Chorus will welcome guests into the church for a reception with music by Dave Cullen and desserts provided by Sweet Street. Historical displays and building tours will be available during this time.
