RENT & PAYMENT

Monthly Rate: $90.00 per space, per month.

Due Date: Payment is automatically charged on the 15th of each month via credit card on file with the Trinity Lutheran Church office.

Credit Card Required: A valid credit card must be on file with the Church office at all times as a condition of this agreement. The credit card on file will be charged automatically each month on the 15th until written notice of termination is received.

No Credit Card on File: If no valid credit card is on file by the 15th of any month, Lessee will be considered to have vacated their spot. Parking access (gate card) will be deactivated as of the 15th, and Lessee must re-enter any waitlist that exists for spaces in the Trinity Parking Lot.

INITIAL PRO-RATED PAYMENT

Upon signing this agreement, Lessee must immediately pay by credit card the pro-rated amount for the period from the start date through the next scheduled autopay on the 15th of the month.

Daily Rate: $90.00 ÷ 30 = $3.00 per day

CREDIT CARD AUTHORIZATION

I authorize Trinity Lutheran Church to charge the credit card on file for monthly parking fees ($90.00/space) on the 15th of each month, and for the initial pro-rated amount due upon signing. This authorization continues until written notice of termination is provided.

PARKING ACCESS & RESTRICTIONS

Location: The Trinity Parking Lot is located at 121 North 5th Street, Reading, PA 19601. The lot is secured with gate access and video camera surveillance. Lessor will provide one gate card per space.

General Access: Lessee is granted access Monday through Sunday, subject to the restrictions below.

Sunday Restriction: Parking is NOT permitted on Sundays from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM (noon) to accommodate Trinity Lutheran Church worship services. Lessees must remove their vehicles before 8:00 AM on Sundays. Note: On Sundays, parking on most Reading city streets is free, and most renters move their cars to nearby metered spots at no cost.

Church Festival & Special Service Restrictions: Parking is also not permitted during church festivals when services are held, when large funerals are held, or on other occasions as the Church deems necessary. In all such cases, Lessor will provide at least 48 hours’ advance notice by email to Lessee.

No Refunds: No refunds or rental credits will be issued when the lot needs to be vacated for church activities, whether on Sundays or for other notified occasions.

NON-COMPLIANCE FEES & TERMINATION

Failure to Vacate — Sunday: If a Lessee’s vehicle remains in the lot on a Sunday at or after 8:00 AM and has not been removed, Lessee will be charged a fee of $25.00 per occurrence.

Failure to Vacate — Other Notified Occasions: If a Lessee’s vehicle remains in the lot during a period communicated with at least 48 hours’ notice, Lessee will be charged a fee of $25.00 per occurrence.

Termination for Repeated Non-Compliance: After three (3) such occurrences (of any combination), this agreement will be terminated by the Church. Gate access will be deactivated and the Lessee will need to re-enter any waitlist for lot spaces.

Non-compliance fees are in addition to any other remedies available to Lessor.

TERM & TERMINATION

This agreement begins on the Start Date above and continues month-to-month. Either party may terminate with at least thirty (30) days’ written notice. Upon termination, Lessee must return all gate access cards. Failure to return cards will result in the applicable $10.00 replacement fee.

VEHICLE REGISTRATION

All vehicles must be registered prior to use. Unregistered vehicles may be towed at owner’s expense without notice. Notify Lessor within 5 business days of vehicle changes.

ADDITIONAL TERMS

Use: Spaces are for currently licensed and registered motor vehicles only. No storage, merchandise, or services.

Risk of Loss: Lessor assumes no responsibility for vehicles or contents in the lot. Lessee is encouraged to maintain vehicle insurance.

No Assignment/Sublease: Lessee may not assign, sublet, or permit third-party use without prior written consent of Lessor.

Governing Law: This agreement is governed by Pennsylvania law. Disputes are subject to the courts of Berks County, PA.

ENTIRE AGREEMENT

This agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties regarding the parking space(s) and supersedes all prior discussions or agreements. This agreement may not be modified except by written instrument signed by both parties. Any notice required shall be delivered in person, by first-class mail, or by email.
