With playing described as having “aplomb” and “finely controlled energy” (Organists’ Review), Nicole Keller has risen to the forefront of the organ world as an engaging concert performer, insightful and exacting pedagogue, and effective and inspiring teacher. Specializing in eclectic programs that expand the listener’s horizons and pair familiar sounds and genres with less familiar ones, her playing is distinguished for being artful, aggressive, stylish, and ideal.
Her performances and recording of the works of American composers have garnered uniformly high praise. Ms. Keller is Assistant Professor of Organ and University Organist at the University of Michigan School of Music, Theater & Dance, following 20 years on faculty at Baldwin Wallace University Conservatory of Music.
